Unfortunately, I tend to agree that the lack of them being on the shelves
will be their downfall.

I bought the first MZ-S my store had.  Actually I think they got it
expecting me to buy one :-)  They have another on the shelf, but I have
never seen it talked about.  It has been there for quite some time.  They
sell plenty of P&S and digitals, but I am not sure about SLRs.  I actually
sold a couple of Optio S cameras for them.  I cannot recall about their lens
selections, but I do know they have some zooms (probably because that is
what people ask for most).  I know that I have gotten some prime lenses from
them, but it is due to my trying them out first because of my Pentax rep.
He knows I am a sucker for quality and knew once I tried the Limited series
I would not be able to say no.

I think the biggest thing keeping sales down is the sales clerks, who I do
not see really pushing the cameras.  But then again, most consumers only
hear about Canon and Nikon...
