Hi all,

People have been talking about ethics in reportage:

I have to correct a mistake I made this morning. All day I've been waiting
for the roar and rumble of a stone crusher to start. But nothing happened.
So I went to have a look this afternoon. Lo and Behold! The thing has been
running for hours and is not a crusher at all. Its a new, very quiet, sand
sifting machine and they are sifting the huge mountains of sand, all
thoroughly wet now since we've had a lot of rain. Dust will come, of course,
when they get deep enough, but for the moment the sifter is humming away
doing a fantastic, silent, job. The huge mountain of rock for crushing will
be crushed in due course, but not for the moment anyway. The thing is on
tracks and I expect, that when it gets closer, we'll hear it. But I don't
think it will be a nuisance - during the daytime anyway.
