Well its not life or death but it is a shame that they are being lost and I for one find that once people have used DOS and configured it(emm /qemm/himem.sys and sorted config.sys and autoexec.bat etc) optimally, that they have a far better understanding of windows which still has a lot of 'DOS' in it even 2000 and xp. Its m more the early DOS's like 1.0 and 2.0 the=at I am missing (I don't have 4.01 either, which was a milestone in DOS) So if it is pos then yes plse if it is a lot of work ok thanks anyway. Alan
