CLA = Clean, Lubricate, Adjust.

Routine camera maintenance that a pro ought to have done yearly and an
amateur every 5 years or so. Though modern cameras do not normally need
relubricating a CLA should include partial disassembly, blowing out the
dust, checking the calibration and timing of everything, making any needed
adjustments to bring things back to factory tolerances, replacing
deteriorating seals, reassembly, and a final check to see that the tech
didn't screw something up. Though that last step seems to be skipped by a
lot of shops these days.

Basically it is the same thing as an oil change and tune-up on your car.

Ciao,
Graywolf
