I'm subscribed again for a few minutes cuz I need some help. I decided to purchase the eyecup afterall. I also left my hot shoe adapter at home (doh!)... I'm not sure if I'll need it again, but I'd hate to need it and not have it so I have to buy another one of those, too.
Can anyone reliably tell me which one I need? I can't remember. It's going on the MZ-S and connecting to that shorter cord that Pentax has (f5P?). Do I need Hot Shoe Adapter F? or FG? Do both fit on the MZ-S, or just one? Judging from the descriptions @ B&H website, the "F" one is less expensive and seems to have more functionality... but I think I'm missing something.
According to MZ-S owner manual (p98), you should use:
- hot shoe adapter Fg on the body
- extension cord F5p
- off camera shoe adapter F for connecting the flash (not necessary for AF500FTZ)
