Unfortuately, I think right now you are stuck with what you are doing. After you have finished your rebuild: Look for a folder in your Windows directory called "Favorites". It should contain a bunch of shortcuts. Copy the entire folder to a floppy disc, and update it as needed. When you need to reinstall your OS, you can overwrite the newly installed favorites directory with the back up version. William Robb
