There's also Breezebrowser, Yarc and a few others. Phase One's Capture One and Breeze are very popular.
I like Phase One, but it's not worth $500 more than the free Canon software, which works fine but is a little pokey. I don't like BB's interface, but I'll use it on pics that need a little noise reduction. There's a capture one "lite" that might be of interest. I don't use it because it will only batch process like 20 at a time or something like that... tv > -----Original Message----- > From: Jostein [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Saturday, September 13, 2003 12:45 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: NEEDED: someone to host *ist D images > > > Dunno about differences, but there is at least one 3rd > party vendor that > delivers software supporting both Canon & Nikon's RAW files. > > Here's a link to the product page: > http://www.phaseone.com/en/PRODUCTS/DSLR/index.htm > > Maybe we can expect them to include Pentax RAW as well? > > Jostein > ----------------------------- > Pictures at: http://oksne.net > ----------------------------- > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Frits Wuthrich" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Sent: Saturday, September 13, 2003 3:55 PM > Subject: Re: NEEDED: someone to host *ist D images > > > > > > > > Canon & Nikon don't make their RAW converters > > > > available for free, do they? > > Can someone enlighten me on the RAW format.
