(note that I only uploaded the full Large-Fine JPG versions, so if you have a modem you're not going to be able to grab these).

These were just a few test shots, I'll do some more controlled tests over the weekend and make a real web page- for now this is mainly for folks who want to see what a 50/1.4 super-tak look like on the Canon 1Ds.


Quick conclusion: In normal contrast situations, at medium apertures they are effectively the same. In high contrast situations it is clear that the Tak is less chromatically (word?) corrected.

PS: It's a solid metal adapter, but I didn't have to machine anything off- it meters just fine stopped down- sorta like an 11 Megapixel full frame spotmatic digital :-).
