Hello all;
I have been in contact with a guy named Klaus
Garcia who has offered to fix my Me Super for
what I consider to be a small sum. My Me Super
does not advance the film at first, and then,
after retrying about 50 times, it will advance it
every third time, then every other time, then
everytime. If it sits again for awhile, this
process must be done again. Anyhow, he seems
knowledgable. He says it is a "gummy mechanism
caused by breakdown of mirror charge arm return
damper."
I was just wondering if anyone has heard anything good or
bad about him. If not, perhaps I will play guinea pig
for the list and let you know how it goes. He is from
California, btw.
