I'm not suprised: it is so easy technically to make this happen, it would be a shame if it could not!! Backwards compatibility to old TTL flashes is one of the reasons I have a Nikon digital camera and could be a reason to buy a digital Pentax. I'm aware of the fact that good TTL flashes are as expensive as lenses or camera's!
