Hi Mark,
I've shot high school swim meets, but it was thirty years ago or so. If
I remember correctly, I shot with a 200/3.5 Vivitar, and Tri-X> I got
some nice shots right off the blocks (if that's what they call it),
moving with the swimmers at as high a shutter speed as I could achieve
at f4 or f 5.6. In the water shots were quite easy as I recall. The film
is probably in the basement somewhere, along with a couple thousand
other rolls. Good luck. I'm sure your lens and film are perfect. You'll
undoubtedly nail this one.
