Hello,
my brother would like to buy a 70(100)-300 F4(4.5)-5.6
zoom for his Pentax (MZ-5N). He wouldn't like to spend a lot
of money (about $200-$300) and he is not a serious photographer.
The options he has are:
1. Tamrom AF 70-300 F/4-5.6 LD
2. Sigma 70-300 F/4-5.6 APO macro super
3. Sigma 70-300 F/4-5.6 DL macro
4. Pentax FA (or F) 100-300 F/4.5-5.6
5. Pentax FA 80-320 F/4.5-5.6
I have the (4) and I don't like it very much. The reviews I
read in the internet say that Tamrom is the best of the five.
Is it true?
Which one is the sharpest?
I know the pentaxes front end rotates and the sigma's don't but
what about Tamrom? does its front rotates? This question is
important to him because he likes to use polarizer.
Which one has better performance?
and, Which one has less distortions?
Thanks,
Alex
