I managed to look at the demo model on Saturday. It was hard to get it off the salesman who was wandering around the shop pointing the camera at people and things and taking pictures. I don't think it had a place on the shelves yet! It was very nice to hold and the controls are very much like my Z1-p (which is for sale if anyone wants it). The addition of a grip will help those who don't want their little finger floating in space, and I will probably end up getting one. The overlay of the active focus point is better than in the *ist, and the viewfinder is bright and clear. That's about all I can say from my small handling of it. I downloaded and read the manual last night, so hopefully I can just pick it up and use most of the features I want. Leon http://www.bluering.org.au http://www.bluering.org.au/leon
