Hi Graywolf, on 21 Sep 03 you wrote in pentax.list:

But it may not be operated under water. It is waterresistent class 7 JIS. A description of theese classes can be found here: <http://www.pentax.ch/index.php?id=414&type=1> BTW - the lens is fixed. i.e. all moving parts of the zoom system are inside the camera. I had the chance to handle the 33WR. It is very nice - good pictures and very fast for a compact digicam. It is ready for shooting only a second after being switched on. You can find two original pictures of the 33WR at the bottom of this German report: <http://www.digitalfotonetz.de/Optio_33WR/33WR_Erster_Eindruck/ body_33wr_erster_eindruck.html> Cheers, Heiko
