ISTR that the Canon 10D (6-megapixel) RAW files are also 12MB - I think it was Tom Van Veen who told me that and I wondered at the time why they weren't 9MB. (Am I remembering this correctly, Tom?) -- Mark Roberts Photography and writing www.robertstech.com
