when i try to do copies using my digital camera with its slide adapter, i find that it boosts the contrast more than i would like, especially on Kodachrome. it is still handy to do some moderate resolution scans quickly though. 6 megapixels is the Kodak PhotoCD standard and fine for stock photo collections.
