Nope.

I was referring to the image one would see if one looked through the
viewfinder, what would match the other eye. I probably worded it completely
wrong.
Right, no connection to sensor, only view finder. But miswording is
completely
besides the point. You guys are sometimes being so precise in your wording
you
are driving me batty -- even if I understand the reason for it. But basically
it makes the whole discussion just that much more confusing. Let's stop
talking
about cropping and magnification etc. so much. Let's talk more about what one
sees through the view finder and the field of view that ends up on the image.
That's what is important. And maybe I and others cannot be as precise as you
want.

Most of us get it, but all that preciseness of wording is confusing and
fogging the issue. I deliberately, btw, played devil's advocate on the post
about
the view finder image being DIFFERENT from what ends up on the storage card.
Do'h.

I'm sorry, you ticked me off.

And I want to see what gray wolf says about the 82mm lens. Why he said what
he said. I do believe I get it now. I believe he may be correct, since he
knows
more about photography than most on this list. And maybe he'll understand my
miswording.
