So, the FA* 80-200 F2.8 lens is an "internal focus" lens. If I recall correctly, some IF lenses display a reduced effective focal length when close focused. That is, such an IF lens acts like a 200mm lens when focused at infinity, but has the same field of view as, e.g., a 150mm lens when focused on a near object.

Does anyone know if the FA* 80-200 F2.8 lens behaves this way? (I can check mine when I get home tonight)
