An eyecup for the M series cameras will work and block a lot more light
than any of the ZX/MZ eyecups.

Hi there!

I bought a brand new MZ-6 (ZX-L) about a month ago as a replacement
for my old PZ-10. So far I like it. The only problem I have
experienced while shooting on a sunny day was too much light entering
to my viewfinder (preventing me to read the exposure information). I
noticed that MZ-5N has eyecup of a different shape (which might block
entering light more efficiently).

Does anybody know if the eyecup from MZ-5N would also fit on MZ-6 (ZX-
L)? I'm not sure though if the viewfinder's diopter has the same
design on both cameras. Or is there any other replacement for the
original eyecup I could use?

Thanks in advance.
