VW. With the Eurovan they couldn't compete until the base price came down. Might be true of the *istD. The longest production vehicle was the Bug. Reminds me of the K1000 and its longevity. Slow to catch up in the SUV market until the new Taurog. Just like Pentax digital slr was slow to get to the market.
