I used a razor saw (6 inches long with tiny teeth for model railroading) to 
make the big cuts, then a Demel motor tool to shape the details.  Using the 
motor tool takes some care as the grip A is plastic.   The sanding bits can 
melt parts of the grip if you move too fast.
