In case anyone's wondering, that's a really nice lens.  My only complaint, 
is that with the slow speed, my Spotmatic's viewfinder is a teeny bit on the 
dark side (I rarely use zooms on my Spot's, and the viewfinder isn't as 
bright as my MX to begin with).

But, slow speed aside, it's a very sharp distortion-free lens.  Compact, 
too.

I've read reports from people who say it's sharper than the 2.8.

Good price.  If I didn't have one already, I'd buy it.
