If you are going to do that, put your thumb on the bottom of the camera, and your index finger on the shutter button, and squeeze. You will impart less vibration that way. The other way is to use the self timer and French Flag the lens. Without a cable release, I would opt for the latter method. The LX will support French Flagging quite nicely on auto. Don't ask me why it's called French Flagging, I haven't a clue. William Robb
