Ironically, I'm pushing myself to shoot MORE with my film cameras right now because I'm shooting digital at work. A Nikon D1H and pro zooms are fantastic for professional use but the romance of photography is lost somehow. Digital can't match the impact of a slide on a light table for me, nor can the sexiness of the old all-manual cameras and lenses be topped. I've got all this screwmount gear now and I want to USE it! It is as I've often heard medium format photography described--more contemplative. With the expense and hassle of film you have to think more before you shoot and make the shots count, and with older gear the process of metering and such often takes longer anyway. I'm using my personal DSLRs for high-volume high-speed personal work such as model photography, and my Spotmatics and assorted K-mounts for slower stuff like vacation and scenic photography. DJE
