Har!

I bought an Winder LX with my first LX and loved it. Later, I obtained a
motor drive and two refurbished battery packs. It was fun for a while, but
recharging the batteries got to be old. Kept having "senior moments" and
forgetting to recharge. I don't use it any more. I bought a second winder.
Nice to have power instantly restored with easy AA battery replacement.

As to wearing out, I suspect that I'll get just as many photos whether
manual or motorized. Even if it is so that the camera will wear out faster,
why wear out parts in wonderful cameras that, due to age, cannot always be
completely restored? The LX is still supported.

Anyway, my post was just jest, Snowfield Willie.

Regards,
Bob...
