Yes, it only reads ASA 100 and 400 film cartridges, but all film
cartridges made nowadays are the 100 film cartridge. That's
right, Kodak stuffs ASA 400 film into a cartridge indexed for
ASA 100 on older 110 cameras. This is even worse with the Auto
110 because with ASA 100 cartridges it sets its metering up for
ASA 80. The fix is to slice off the tab on these ASA "100"
cartridges that sets the camera for 100 speed film. Open the
camera back and look to the far right of where the cartridge
would sit. There is a small protruding spring loaded lever.
Remove enough of the cartridge tab so that it does not depress
the lever.
