Having a holiday today here in Poland I found some time to browse through this month gallery. As other said it - many very good photos. I'm not going to comment on all as I lack skills and time to do so, but wil mention some that grabbed my attention most when browsing.
"Australasian Harrier" by Max McRae - a professional shot - pin sharp when it has to be, blurred elsewhere. Very nice colours. And the fact of being taken in the zoo can't be seen in the photo which I like. Very nice opening to the gallery. "Face to face" by Jan van Wijk - very well cought but showing nice composition as well "For Those Who Hate Cats - a Double Dose" by Lon Williamson - if you wanted to get on those cat haters' nerves you probably have done the best. Everything is so cute in this photo that it must work the way you planned "Dreamy Autumn Afternoon" by Kathleen Leickly - that's a very well used photo manipulation technique "Blue" by Dag Thrane - that background is very nicely placed but the photo has much more to it which I just can't name. I just like it. "Luminous" by Graham Lyth - that is very graphical photo and a very nice one. I guess you made a great use of this place. Don't know how I would feel with with sand in my lens for 18 months but the result is worth it. "Nupsstadur" by Thrainn Vigfusson - great, bold colours, the contrast between the stormy sky and bright car is very pleasing. "Parallel Spiral" by BigButt - great juxtaposition, seems almoust like two photos merged together. "My Chevy" by Paul Stenquist - another professional photo. Nice car, very nicely placed. "Water And Air" by Wessel Sijl - great atmosphere! "Scale" by Simon King - a great sense of scale is here for sure, as well as nice tonality. "I Laugh in the Face of Danger!" by Catherine Wilson - I just like it. Great kids portrait. "Father" by Sandor Lueff - a portrait that tells something about the person. Too bad it's more pentax and less father but I like it anyway. There are also many great photos beside those. Cheers, Maciej
