Well, as you now know I bought an LX.
And, you're right, I was broke. And, in fact, I'm still broke. I paid for the LX by cheque; just wait until Vic tries to cash it. Hee hee hee...
But, seriously, yeah, this summer I was having serious cash flow problems. Two things changed a little bit. First, over the last few weeks we've gotten a little busier at work (it may be only temporary, but it's meant two 1/2 decent paycheques). Plus, I changed residences last month, and that saves me quite a bit of rent each month. Those two situations combined to allow me this purchase.
Besides, when you hear of something you really want, you figure out a way, right? <vbg> I mean, this is the first body I've bought in well over a year. I've been a very reasonable boy...
And, your joke is in no way offensive. I'd have sold a kidney for it, but I only have one left, and I need that one. I already sold the first one to pay for my Leica...
