Hi! Hi!
KK> Any opinions on the marks and scratches? Any other ideas for KK> investigation? I will scan the previous film and ask the previous KK> owner too. Two thoughts occurred to me. NEither is too good but still. 1. If you have a new camera or one you bought new, or even a new p&s camera which you know for sure has no dust problems - shoot a roll with it, process the roll at the same lab, study the outcome (scanner, loupe...) 2. Theoretically you could submit your camera to cleaning (not CLA, just cleaning). One of the stages of my poor ME Super story was just cleaning and (for me it was necessary, it has nothing to do with you <grin>) replacement of mirror dampening foams... Admittedly this part of the job was done very well. There is a fair chance that if the problem is not in the lab this will cure you, though there is a fair chance that it would be a waste of money as well. I hope I make some sense... Boris
