Anyone who is considering an MZ-S should visit Dario's wonderful site, which describes it very well. I will say, Dario, that I have found that I actually use that "HOLD" switch from time to time. I use my trusty Vivitar 283 on my MZ-S in indoor situations, which means setting the lens at f8 and the shutter speed at 1/60. A couple of times I accidentally bumped the command dial, shifting my shutter speed to one other than the one desired. By using the 'hold' button I lock not only the command dial, but also the green hyper button on the front of the camera, thereby ensuring that my shutter speed stays put. I don't use it often, but it does get used from time to time. I enjoyed your review very much.
