OK, i just ran a test to compare level 3 in PhotoLab with Level 0 in camera and it is fairly significant. however, FocusFixer at my normal settings does even more sharpening and almost always without objectionable artifacts. i have just produced a couple of Pentax RAW images, increased the image size to 6000x4008, ran FocusFixer, and then made some color adjustments. the results look very good indeed, approaching what i can get using the same lens ( FA 24-90 @ f11) on Provia 100F scanned at 4000dpi. of course, i can sharpen the film scan with FocusFixer too, but then i am sharpening film grain at the same time.
