Hi,

Sekonic make several different models, mostly electronic now
(www.sekonic.com). I have one of the analogue models, the L-398M
Studio Deluxe, which may be what your father has. This is still a
current model, so you should still be able to get the manual, and
various accessories, from Sekonic.

If this, or similar, is the model you have, please let me know and
I'll explain how it works.
