I expect few, if any, new FA lenses of any type. Pentax, like everyone
else, seems to be going digital.

And in the for what it's worth department; I've heard from a very reliable
source that the largest camera retailer in the USA is having 10,000 rolls of
film going out of date DAILY. I would hazard a guess that worldwide it
could be close to 500,000.

Subject: What is the high-end Pentax lens strategy????

> Do our list friends with connections to Pentax Japan, have any idea what
Pentax plans to do with the FA star lenses??? Are they updating the zoom
line up? Deleting any? New limited lenses??

$1600 or so, and selling them with very cheap, plastic lenses of mediocre
lens quality (or slow). Does anyone on the list know the direction Pentax
is taking re lenses???
