No. The reason being that the aperture lever on the back of the lens interferes with body parts inside the camera. Remove the lever, and it's a whole new ballgame. The best thing about K to EOS is the film register distance is right. The M42 and K mount register is 45.46mm (distance from flange of bayonet mount - the hindmost part of the lens that contacts the frontmost part of the camera - to the film plane) On EOS it is 44mm. This means a thickness of 1.46mm has to be inserted between lens and camera - *just* enough metal to be viable. And in fact just the right thickness as found in the good old M42 / EOS adapter readily available. It was one of these adapters that I had drilled out to accept longer screws from the Pentax lens. It works superbly. Some K lens also have a small raised protector at the aperture lever, this must be removed as well either by cutting off, or removing the plastic surround to which it is attached. Details soon. Cheers, Cotty ___/\__ || (O) | People, Places, Pastiche ||=====| www.macads.co.uk/snaps _____________________________ Free UK Mac Ads www.macads.co.uk
