Hi all,
Today, I went down to the local Pentax service centre to
get my Z-50p repaired. (Its LCD and LED are defected...)
The total cost will be around JPY17,000 (some USD150) and
it will be ready 27th.
I felt curious about the cost and asked the clerk how much
it will be for CLA of an LX. She replied with smile that
it depends on its condition and age but it would be around
JPY32,000 (USD270)!!!
She said she could check it if I had it with me, and though
I had my LX then, I replied "the next time", with a frozen
smile... <G>
Although my LX is rather an old one (52XXXXX), it works
perfectly. I never had sticky mirror problem yet since I
got it second-hand. I really hope that the seller had it
CLA'ed before...
