IIRC Isn't that what happens as the battery starts to get exhausted?
Anyway, if the sekonic agrees with the K1000 but not with the SP500 then
the SP500 is probably off (though there is a chance both the sekonic and
K1000 are aff by the same amount).  Another thing to check is the lens on
the SP500 and make sure the blades aren't sluggish, if they aren't stopping
down right then that can seem to be erratic metering.
