Hi Bruce.
I am not going to agree or disagree at this time as i have not handled the starkist D
yet,BUT, i did see 
last weekend at Downtown Camera in Toronto,an enlargement for there D100 which has the
same 
sensor as the starkist.I believe it was 16x20,of a red picpup truck circa 1950.It was
very,very 
good.Lots of rich colour and detail.
So if the starkist can produce a similar quality print,money well spent my friend.<g>

btw my D1 has been acting up the last few days.Getting a picture or two then black
screen.Nikon BB  
suggests old batteries just about ready to go.Newer battery in it now and so afr so 
good.
Problem with 
Nikon battery system,but *ist D should not have that problem with AA's.
