BTW, John Francis, what does EXIF record exactly? Aperture, shutter speed, ISO and what else? If Pentax has left a lot of room there, I would suspect the lens as well. (I.E. Room for future development --more complete list of lenses maybe including third party, and/or new Pentax lenses). Could be why a lot of room is left.
