I finally tried the 18-35 on a film camera this morning. I used a Program Plus. That little sucker is actually a decent optic, though it's a slow one. Not a lot of fall off in the corners, and it stays straight and sharp to the edges. Not having an aperture ring is a bit of a bust, as it does limit how the thing gets used, but it's still an OK lens.
