I was just down at Midwest this afternoon
and had the opportunity to meet one of their
customers from Japan. She needed to replace
her 28-70/4 AL as hers was moisture damaged
and the est. repair cost was $125.
Unfortunately Midwest does not carry Pentax 35mm
so Abdi asked me to assist her with finding
the lens she wanted and contacting B&H to get it
at a good price.
It was $139.95 NEW @ B&H. She significantly more
in Japan for it and was surprised (and pleased)
that it was so much cheaper here. She was also
surprised that Pentax is so lacking in popularity
in the US as compared to C & N.
I've invited her to join the group. Hopefully she will.
