Yes, convenience is also factor. Can't discount that. Luckily we don't have to use glass plates anymore, or I wouldn't be playing around with photography at all. Or carting around one of those big Graphix (sp?) people have mentioned -- I wouldn't have even tried. A DSLR's main attraction for me is the increased convenience. Someday... Marnie aka Doe
