I've taken a look at this program. First of all, it appears to be a professional product for the manipulation of technical images to get information not readily available to the eye. With that in mind I set about trying out some of the filters on fair to bad micrographs. Some work others don't. Deconvolution is laborious and doesn't work properly. The Fourier routine is buggy. A file saved from this program cannot be opened in some others. For example after processing an image, I tried to open it with the Polaroid routine for dust and scratch removal -- the file wouldn't open.
When all the things its supposed to do can actually be done it will be useful, but I think Scion Image is a whole lot better and it always works. But you do need to know what you're doing.
