here are some pictures taken in the last month and a half of various fall scenes. these are mostly taken with my Nikon Coolpix 5000 P&S digital camera but the last bunch are with my *istD including the batch, the ones of the flowers and butterflies, i took with Cesar at the American Museum of Natural History.
http://users.bestweb.net/~hchong/Seasonal/Seasonal1.htm for all intents and purposes, the *istD has retired the Nikon. i'll take the Nikon only when i have to use a small camera and can't use anything else. that's hardly ever. the image quality of the *istD is much higher, although the Coolpix 5000 was never really bad. it was middle of the pack 5 megapixels. i just haven't had a chance to take my rolls of slides in for processing. i have about 10 rolls covering the same period, more or less. most of October ended up being way too sunny on weekends and i was guiding a lot of people, so i didn't get much i really liked. the very first picture in the sequence is a layering of 6 images taken at 1 stop intervals.
