-- Just looked through the PUG and am quite jealous of the
-- wonderful work y'all
-- produced.
--
-- As I commented, just before PUG deadline I had three
-- problems -- two were
-- weather-related -- that interfered with my attempting to get
-- any cloud shots
-- for the PUG: First, we had some overcast days where the
-- cloud cover was
-- completely featureless, followed (second problem) by some
-- clear days with Not A
-- Cloud In The Sky (and did I think of borrowing the
-- Carpenters' line for such a
-- shot? Nooooo, not me.) The other problem of course was being
-- laid up for a
-- while with this foot surgery.
--
-- Anyway, off I went on my road trip to Kentucky just AFTER
-- the PUG deadline, and
-- came home with some shots I would have loved to submit had
-- the timing worked
-- out. So I'm going to offer two of them up for view anyway.

-- is a shot out of the rear window of my car as my husband
-- drove us east along
-- Interstate 10 toward Beaumont, Texas.

-- was taken just after Thanksgiving dinner. My in-laws took us
-- to eat at Dupont
-- Lodge, whose dining room offers this great view of the river
-- above the Falls.
-- Not having access to the tables right by the window, I
-- excused myself as soon
-- as I decently could and hopped upstairs to the observation deck.
--
-- I used the Optio 550 for both of
-- these.
