Don't think that you can out of it that easily. A swedish ogranisation (SWEA) has their annual x-mas basar somewhere in hollywood this weekend and I'm sure you can get Jansons temptation there. <S>

> Memory serves you well. In Swedish that's "Janssons frestelse", which I would translate into "Jansson's Temptation". It's more or less a Swedish national dish among a handful. I like it a lot, as do most Swedes. Very common, both in everyday eating as well as at parties, where there usually will be a (chilled) snaps (usually vodka) served to it, in addition to beer.

Janssons frestelse sounds delicious, but my wife's not a Svenska flikka, so chances are I won't be getting it at home! And. . .you know how wives are about getting it anywhere else! <g>
Oh, and I'll pass on the Everclear! Aqavit (sp?) is bad enough!
