First was Gatha (a pun on the Spanish "gata" and the name of an Assyrian hymn which he seemed to sing) Galligaskins (Italian for Greek sailors with white trousers; Gali was mostly gray with white leggings.) Golden Girl (aka Gogi) A short term visitor who passed away with feline "AIDS" Named in honor of the Purdue Golden Girl drum majorette. Greyki A gray kitten who was another very short term guest, for the same reason. Boss Lady A very aggressive female white cat. She was a strey, came in and took over the house. We found another home for her - the male cats were getting too stresed. Oaxaca (the color of, and named for, the lovely black pottery from that region of Mexico. aka Whacko.)
