I wouldn't call any of those earlier lenses particularly mad - while most of my preliminary test shots have been with the F50/1.7, I fully expect to use the FA* 80-200/2.8 on a regular basis, and also an A* 300/2.8 (possibly even with the 1.7x AF adapter). As for older lenses; when Shel stopped by to play with the *ist-D he brought along a nice old lens (a K 85/1.8, I believe).
