Good piece of advice Rob. I quite often see in my finder with the D1 the green light
and
the beep
say its focused but i can see its is not quite.I lower the camera abit focus on
something
then move
back to my subject and try a gain.Sometimmes i have to do it several times.
The Nikon D1 BB has mentioned that the some D1's "background" focus and i think i have
one
of these.
Your corect in saying the finder should look focused as well.
Now i just have to find a way to deal with the distortion in my PZ-1.My new
transitional
zoom lenses
glasses came last night and the distortion is worse with them on.
I quess i'll have to shoot with out them. Its a BIT better that way.
