market analysts greet Kodak's latest reorg as another move to reduce the dependence
of company revenue on film as consumers continue shift to digital and to ramp
up support of digital technologies. Kodak's shares move higher after dropping
over 30% in the past year. net sales of Kodak worldwide have been dropping since
1996 and earning per share have been dropping since 2000 with the most losses
in the US and Canada.

my friends in Kodak say bluntly "film is on its way out" and Kodak has to cope
somehow.
