How that works is the company with the license collects the tax from their customers and pays it to the state. So they just collect it from themselves (grin). When I had a STL in Michigan, they allowed up to a $400 credit towards the cost doing the paperwork. That meant I got to pocket the tax I collected on the first $10,000 in sales.
